1853 Arrows and Rays Seated Quarter, Lightly Toned, Lustrous XF45 PCGS CAC. Well-struck (as most of the issue) with moderate luster remaining under a light layer of green and gold patina with rose and amber accents. A pretty example of this desirable one-year subtype (we consider the 1854–1855 coins a different subtype, as the rays were removed from the reverse).
