1855 Type Two Indian Princess Gold One Dollar, Elusive Type, AU58 PCGS. Beaming canary-yellow surfaces show scarcely a trace of rub on the high points of this coin. Much luster remains on both sides, although we see one small mark in the field above the headdress. This near-Mint State grade is the highest that a type collector can obtain before getting well into the four-figure range. This coin has not been to CAC, to our knowledge, although we may send it off soon if no one nabs it.
