1871 Great Britain Shield Reverse Sovereign MS63 PCGS Die #29. Marsh: “Scarce.” A great-looking example of this popular Shield Back, with flowing luster over smooth golden-orange surfaces. The Shield Backs are among the most popular collecting specialties among the British sovereigns, and we must say we think dates such as this are quite underrated.
