1879-S Morgan Dollar, ‘Scarlet Letter,’ MS64 PCGS. Lovely hues of scarlet and aqua are more dominant on the reverse of this well-struck near-Gem. The luster is excellent throughout and fairly prooflike on the obverse. Nathaniel Hawthorne would be proud.
