1880-S Morgan Dollar, Untoned, Reflective MS65 PCGS CAC. Although there are scads of Gem 1880-S Morgan dollars around, this one boasts that bit of extra cachet that made it instantly appeal to us. The surfaces are extremely well-mirrored and very close to a Prooflike designation. It is perhaps just a slight bit of dimming luster on the reverse mirrors that prevented such a designation. A lovely type coin, with scarcely a trace of golden color and excellent eye appeal.
