1899 Morgan Dollar MS66+ PCGS CAC, Gloriously Toned P-Mint Key! The 1899 Morgan dollar is well-known and extremely popular for its status as a low-mintage Philadelphia issue. Although it had a generous survival for such a low mintage of only 330,000 business strikes, few indeed exist today as nice as this splendidly toned piece, completely original and certified MS66+ PCGS with the CAC green bean. Only a few trivial contact marks in the lower-left reverse field seemingly keep this coin from an MS67 grade. This gloriously toned Morgan dollar looks exactly like the Trueview to our eyes. We loved it and we think you will, too! PCGS Population: 61 in 66+, 27 finer (finest one example in MS67+). CAC records only five higher-graded examples, all MS67, of course (11/2019).
A full MS67 PCGS CAC coin is priced at $8,750 in the Greysheet CAC Price Guide. And that’s without the phenomenal color this coin exhibits!
