We liked the looks of this coin for the grade and sent it to CAC ourselves (some very picky folks on gold), and it came back with a green bean just as we suspected it might. And when you buy a 1909-D from one of those “21 in stock” gold coin providers on eBay or elsewhere (you know who you are), well, let’s just say you might get what you pay for … One of these days we’ll get around to reshooting the slab with the bean.
