1909-S VDB Cent, Appealing MS63BN PCGS CAC Example of This Key Date. This is an appealing walnut-brown example of the S VDB with a great strike (including the designer’s initials and the periods in between), and there is some mint orange still peeking out from behind the dominant medium-brown color. Only one little spot shows near the left wheat ear. The CAC approval has been given to only about 12% of the PCGS coins in this grade. The PCGS Price Guide is $1,800 for coins in this grade (without CAC), and the CAC Price Guide is $1,880.
