1926-D Lincoln Cent, Elusive Semikey, MS64BN PCGS CAC Ex: Abe’s Coloring Book. I think the 1926-D Lincoln cent is the Rodney Dangerfield of Lincoln cents; it just “gets no respect” due to its proximity to the enormous high-grade rarity of its sibling the 1926-S. Nonetheless, it is vastly underrated, and actually harder to find than some of the S-mint issues in the 1920s. This example shows some die fatigue on the reverse with pretty color on both sides. PCGS Population: 51 in 64BN, 12 finer. CAC Population: 6 in 64BN, 3 finer (5/2019).
