1932 Ten Dollar Gold High-End MS64+ CAC Ex: Legend Numismatics. The 1932 eagle date is well-known and popular as the only relatively affordable American gold coin issue from the entire decade of the 1930s. This piece was a fortunate purchase from Laura Sperber at Legend Numismatics, one of the sharpest eyes in American numismatics (if not the best speller). This piece is graded MS64+ PCGS and carries the CAC green bean as well. More importantly, it boasts wonderful honey-gold surfaces free of even the most abstruse flaws. In MS65 the issue currently (November 2018) lists at $2100+ (non-CAC) and $5,000 (CAC) in the CDN Greysheet. This MS64+ CAC piece isn’t cheap, but the superb quality will remain long after you have forgotten the price.
