1933 Cent, Spectacularly Toned MS66 Red and Brown PCGS CAC, Ex: Abe’s Coloring Book. The Abe’s Coloring Book, FYI, is the #1 finest Lincoln Cents Toned Registry Set at PCGS. I only discovered the provenance by happy accident, as I was researching the cert # and it showed as belonging to the set. I contacted the “owner,” a charming gentleman, only to find that he had sold it through Great Collections and it had then reappeared for sale—but he had neglected to remove it from his set (he bought a 64 Brown one to replace it, saying all things being equal, he preferred Brown coins.) Anyway. His loss, our gain, and your chance to obtain this spectacular toner. The 1929–1933 cents were saved in more generous quantities than their predecessors during the Great Depression, a time when “Buddy, can you spare a dime” meant a potential day’s worth of income for many poor souls. Nonetheless, few survive as fine as this wonder coin. PCGS Population: 8 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 finer (a 67 Red and Brown). CAC Population: 1 in 66 Red and Brown, 1 67 Red and Brown finer (6/2018).

Oh, did we mention? This is also the CoinFacts Plate Coin for this grade!
