1942 Lincoln Cent, Colorful Gem PR65BN PCGS. The U.S. Mint struck proof coins from 1936 through 1942 inclusive, and then went on a hiatus until the next proof minor-denomination coins were struck in 1950. The 1942 cents were produced in the meager amount of only 32,600 coins. This piece is one of only 10 certified PR65BN at PCGS, with a single PR66BN finer (6/2023).
