1942-P Type 2 Silver Jefferson Nickel, PR65 PCGS OGH. A lightly golden-toned Gem proof Type 2 Jefferson nickel—the wartime silver alloy with large P mintmark above the dome of Monticello to distinguish it from the Type 1 pieces. The coin basically presents as well-mirrored with a light golden tone on both sides … anything else is a function of the giant closeup photos. Encapsulated in a PCGS old green holder (OGH). Great for type!
