1997-W FDR Commemorative Half Eagle, Toned MS70 PCGS, Ex: Subway Tokens Collection. We were fortunate enough to get first crack from a major dealer in Moderns at several toned gold commemorative half eagles, all certified in early PCGS blue-label holders, formerly in the “Subway Tokens” Collection, the retired #1 PCGS Registry Set. These commemorative half eagles are far more elusive in MS70 than their PR70 counterparts, and these boast gorgeous toning as well. The photos pretty much speak for themselves. The toning is really exceptional on this piece, the most lavish of the four. You won’t find another one like it. Ex: US Vault Collection (previous to Subway Tokens).
