1875-Ga MC Mexico 8 Reales Great Color and Luster, Pop 1/0! A strictly original 8 Reales with great color and luster, just the way I like them! Walk around any large coin show and you will see lots of dipped-out, dull, dishwater-silver 8 Reales ... nothing could be more different from this coin! A light golden cast fills the centers of both sides and deepens at the rims to wine and almond-tan color. Some light planchet adjustment marks, as made at the Guadalajara Mint, appear in the Libertad cap on the obverse, just as one might see on an early gold U.S. coin, and not affecting the PCGS grade. One of only three Mint State examples of this issue at PCGS ... and the sole finest of those (3/2018).
