1838 Classic Head Half Eagle Honey-Gold AU50 PCGS. Light high-point wear and minimal small marks are consistent with the grade and a short spell in circulation. Most of the detail and tremendous eye appeal remain. The 1838 is an excellent date to represent the Classic Head short series, but all of these issues are very underrated, especially when found as nice as the present coin.
