1884 Indian Cent, Elusive Date, Rose- and Blue-Toned MS64BN PCGS CAC. While more available than most Indian cent dates in the early 1870s, compared to the 1880s issues, the 1884 mostly went into circulation and stayed there, making Mint State survivors scarce and usually ugly. This example is unusually attractive both in grade and surfaces, as the Trueview amply attests. CAC Population: 9 in 64BN, 24 finer (3/2022).
