1886 Variety 1 Indian Cent, Lovely Toned PR66RB PCGS CAC With Trueview. The Variety 1 refers to the placement of the lowest headdress feather between IC. The Mint later in the year produced new master hubs with the feather between CA, and it remained there on all subsequent issues. The great majority of the proof cents were struck early in the year before the change. This Premium Gem proof offers splendid, radiant luster in the fields contrasting well against the frosty devices, yellow-gold in the centers and deepening to amber-orange at the rims. Cert# 30666860. PCGS Population: 44 in 66RB, 9 finer. CAC Population: 10 in 66RB, 4 finer (3/2021).
