1911-S Lincoln Cent MS65BN PCGS CAC Key S-Mint in Gem Grade! This coin was part of our core Registry Set until we managed to snag an amazing MS66BN example. The 1911-S Lincoln cent is among the most difficult of the early S-mint Lincolns, miles away from the fairly common-in-all-grades 1910-S. In Gem condition we don’t hesitate to call this a “key” coin. This Gem Brown PCGS example boasts wicked smooth surfaces untroubled by distractions, with the added CAC green bean. Even though we scour many venues and sources for fine Lincolns, this is the first example of this date in this grade, and CAC to boot, that we have had in many moons. The surfaces are fully struck throughout, there are no spots, and this coin is close to a Red and Brown designation on the reverse. PCGS Population: 30 in 65BN, 4 finer. CAC Population: 12 in 65BN, 2 finer (12/2020).
