1916 Mercury Dime, First-Year MS66FB PCGS ‘Crimson Sunset’. This is a great-looking example of the first-year Mercury dime issue. Highly lustrous surfaces are lavishly toned in crimson and sunset-orange hues and show an absolutely hammered strike through the centers front and back, although we note trivial softness on the bottom loop of the 6—more a design flaw than strike softness. A super type coin!
