1922 Peace Dollar, Lovely Champagne-Gold Gem MS65 PCGS. We hesitated to put this one into the “Beautifully Toned Coins” category because it is only lightly toned in a pretty champagne-gold cast. But hey, if more people see it, all the better, and it is not just silver-white. (Not that’s there’s anything wrong with that, but you can find those coins elsewhere.) Just a great type coin with flowing luster. VAM Notes: The reverse spike coming up from the eagle’s right (facing) wing towards U(NUM) puts this in the VAM-2U1 camp, but I can’t match the obverse with that category. Just buy it, and you can go blind trying to figure out what it is.
