1923-S Cent, Elusive MS64BN PCGS CAC, Tied for Finest CAC. Medium walnut-brown surfaces show a great tinge of teal-green on the obverse under a light. The reverse is copper-rose, with a neat little die crack from the rim through the bottom end of the left wheat ear. A nice example of this elusive semikey issue, held back from a Gem grade by a few minuscule spots. Nonetheless nicer than most survivors of what is among the most poorly made issues in the entire early Lincoln series. PCGS Population: 58 in 64BN (1 in 64+BN), 3 finer in 65BN. This coin is one of only 6 in 64BN at CAC with none finer (9/2019).
