1926-D Semikey Lincoln Cent MS65RB PCGS CAC Mostly Red, Tied for Finest CAC. PCGS Gold Shield Holder. Great luster (far brighter than the photos) and a sharp strike (including all date digits and the D mintmark) are hallmarks of this elusive Gem Red and Brown cent issue, the underrated counterpart to the notorious 1926-S. The reverse is virtually full Red, but portions of the obverse portrait veer just slightly into the Brown spectrum. A terrific example of this hard-to-improve semikey date, with the added CAC green bean. PCGS Population: 33 in 65RB (3 in 65+RB) and 1 finer in 66RB. CAC has given the green bean to 16 in 65RB and none finer (2/2023).
