1961 Three-Piece Proof Cent Set ‘Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue’ PR66–PR67 PCGS. This lot is for a set of three coins: a 1961 Red cent graded PR67RB PCGS, really a deep fuchsia-hot reddish pink color, gorgeous coin; 1961 White cent graded PR66BN PCGS (a spectacular mercury-quicksilver silver-white color); and a Blue 1961 cent graded PR67BN PCGS, a glossy “Blue Bomber” with consistent steel-blue color throughout except for a touch of gold at the right reverse rim at 3 o’clock, and a glimpse of fire below the Lincoln Memorial. I’d like to sell these as a set, preferably to some patriot, or a veteran born in 1961, or a numismatist born/married/first child in this year. ??? For Someone Special. The coins do very much resemble the Trueview photos that accompany them! Ex: Keyman.
