1903 Liberty Head Twenty, Seldom-Seen MS65 PCGS, Super Type Coin. This is another Gem double eagle that we have had for a good while before deciding to let it go. It’s another favorite, something you just really don’t see often at all, a Gem Liberty twenty that is not a 1904 or 1904-S. Super color and luster, no mentionable drawbacks, simply a fantastic coin with a PCGS population in this grade that is one-tenth of the 1904-dated coins (6/22). Another Gem PCGS example of this date sold a couple of months ago at Great Collections for $5900+, and current pieces on the market are $5400-$5700. We think this one is priced to sell quickly at $5100.
