1917-D Type One Standing Liberty Quarter, MS63FH PCGS ‘Confetti’ Toned. A nicely hammered strike is typical of these Type One quarters, not only on Liberty’s face which shows a full hairline and mouth, but also on the shield rivets. A few scattered light abrasions account for the numeric grade, but there is a ton of eye appeal present. Please note, there is a small mint-made divot in the planchet at the top of Liberty’s head, as can be seen in the Trueview. It is not distracting but we mention it for accuracy.
