1964-D Washington Quarter, MS66 PCGS Gold Shield, Incredible Toning. This coin looks just as phenomenal in-hand as it does in the realistic PCGS Trueview photo, showing stunning rainbow toning throughout with deep rose-pink and fuchsia hues predominating. The 1964 Washington quarters were a last-year type, the last 90% silver regular-issue quarters struck. They were struck in abundance through 1966 at least, and many others will grade MS66. Few indeed, however, are as amazingly beautiful as this piece, which we were happy to snag for a strong bid.
