Bahamas $5 Silver 1975-FM PR67DCAM PCGS ‘Flamingo Rose’. KM-67a. 42.12 gm, 0.925 silver (sterling), 1.2527 oz. ASW. 45 mm. This design was issued by The Franklin Mint from 1974–1978 in both copper and silver, with 1979–1980 in silver only. This hefty 1975-dated example is the silver issue, struck in the amount of 29,000 proofs. This coin offers deep proof mirrors with pale blue toning on one side and tokay-gold on the other side. Struck in medal turn, like most British Empire coinage. This piece is among only four in this grade at PCGS with a single PR68DCAM finer (5/2020).
