1926 Lincoln Cent MS65BN PCGS, Pop 6/0, Ex: ‘Abe’s Coloring Book’. For a mintage of more than 157 million coins, it comes as a surprise that so few of the issue are graded MS65BN at PCGS. But the Great Depression was right around the corner, and a cent was a lot when hunger stared you in the face. The vast majority of the emission circulated, and even today, well-worn 1926 cents are apt to turn up in hoards of Wheat cents. Beautiful blue patina enhances the considerable allure. We’ve had this in our collection for a bit but now have an example from the Winged Liberty Set that we like even better! PCGS Population: 6 in 65BN, 0 finer (2/2020).
