1955 Franklin Half MS65 PCGS, ‘Pointillistic’ Semikey Date. Extensive tiny dots of color remind one of a painting by the great late Impressionist painter Georges Seurat. The 1955 Philadelphia was the sole half dollar issuance of this year, and it is considered a semikey date. A lovely example, and seldom seen finer.
